ABOUT OUR SERVICES
A Love Story for No One provides life coaching services operated by Ginny Erickson in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
Life coaching is a collaborative process designed to help you achieve personal goals, gain clarity, and create positive change in your life. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed mental health professional or call 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Session Booking:
- Sessions are booked through our online booking system
- You select your preferred date, time, and donation amount
- A user account is automatically created for you to manage your bookings
Payment:
- Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your session
- We accept payment via Stripe and PayPal
- All payments are processed securely through these third-party providers
- Prices are listed in US dollars
Sliding Scale:
- We offer a sliding scale donation model ranging from $40 to $100 per session
- You choose the amount that works for your financial situation
- All donation amounts receive the same quality of service
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellation by You:
- You may cancel or reschedule your session using the links provided in your confirmation email or through your account at alovestoryfornoone.com/my-bookings
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled session are eligible for a full refund
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your session may not be eligible for a refund at our discretion
Cancellation by Us:
- In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule your session
- If we cancel, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule
Refund Processing:
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method
- Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
USER ACCOUNTS
When you book a session, a user account is created for you automatically.
- Your username is your email address
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- You can manage your bookings and account at alovestoryfornoone.com/my-bookings
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when booking
- Arrive on time for your scheduled sessions
- Treat all interactions with respect and courtesy
- Understand that coaching is a collaborative process and results depend on your participation
- Not record sessions without prior written consent
CONFIDENTIALITY
We respect your privacy and treat our conversations as confidential.
However, we may be required to break confidentiality if:
- You indicate intent to harm yourself or others
- We become aware of abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or dependent adult
- We are required to do so by law

Coaching is NOT:
- Therapy, psychotherapy, or mental health treatment
- Medical advice or treatment
- Legal, financial, or professional advice

We do not diagnose, treat, or claim to cure any mental, emotional, or physical conditions.
Results from coaching vary by individual. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from our sessions.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and materials, is owned by A Love Story for No One and protected by copyright law.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
